morst's PITOWN 2008 (pt 2)
Having arrived safely in Pioneertown, and handing out the photo montages I made, the start of the official festivities rolled around soon enough. (After waiting about a year for the campout, how soon IS soon enough??)

The set started off with Jon Segel playing solo acoustic guitar and busting out some nice rarities including Turnaround, from his 1988 Pitch-A-Tent release, Storytelling. He then handed the guitar over to Victor who played a few of his own before bring Jon back, along with Kenny and Greg.

Then the birthday boy duo took the stage, starting with Johnny playing three songs solo - OK their birthdays are the day before, but this will have to do.

The crowd wanted more, but Johnny said they needed to save their voices for the rest of the campout. So we sung to them instead. Happy Birthday indeed!
